In addition, our region is very rich in mineral resources. Polymetallic ores are extracted from the deposits of Kentau, Achisay and Myrgalymsay.
Before you are examples of non-metallic mineral resources:

- fluorite-barite ore;
- refractory stone;
- sulfur;
- limestone;
- gypsum;
These mineral resources do not contain metals.
We also have metallic mineral resources, including:
- chrysocolla;
- galena;
- chalcopyrite-galena ore;
- lead ore and others.
Various materials and raw materials needed for construction and industry are obtained from these rocks and ores.
Of particular value are ornamental and precious stones:
- fine-grained quartz;
- graphic granite;
- black marble;
- blue marble;
- rock crystal;
- hair quartz.
These stones are widely used in jewellery, decorative arts and construction.
